An electrostatic micromotor based on electrets

چکیده
The authors report a novel electret-based miniature electrostatic motor with an electret film as the stator and metal electrode rotor. A particular commutator is used to transform polarity of electrode. When size (EEM) 42 × 44 15 mm3, maximum power consumption only 5.4 mW. rotation speed EEM increases increase supply voltage, can reach up 2864 rpm. Powered by two nickel-hydride batteries rated capacity 1700 mAh, drive fan diameter 40 mm rotate continuously for 18 h. has characteristics low convenient fabrication. Experimental results show that demonstrates high reliability potential applications in micro-electromechanical systems.
